Vercel MCP is Vercel’s official, hosted Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.vercel.com. It lets Claude search Vercel documentation, manage projects and deployments, analyze deployment logs, and query visitors, page views and custom events from Web Analytics. It uses OAuth, so you sign in with your Vercel account instead of pasting a token.

Install
Vercel’s docs give this Claude Code command:
claude mcp add --transport http vercel https://mcp.vercel.comStart claude and type /mcp to authenticate. Vercel also documents a one-step installer that configures every detected AI client:
npx add-mcp https://mcp.vercel.comAdd -g to install it globally across projects.
Use cases
- Failed builds: “Why did the latest preview deployment of this project fail? Show the relevant log lines.”

Cons and caveats
- Claude acts with your full Vercel user access. Keep human confirmation on.
- Only clients approved by Vercel can connect.
- Deployment logs can contain untrusted text. Vercel warns that injected instructions could try to leak data through other tools.
- No public source repository.

Can any MCP client connect?
